In this article, you will learn how to:
- Translate a campaign automatically
- Manually translate a campaign
- Import a translation via CSV file
The translation of a campaign will allow you to design your survey in the language of your choice but also to make it available in a different language, depending on the respondent's browser language.
Example: You have designed your survey in French but would like to translate it into French and Spanish. All you have to do is use the translation module to have all 3 languages; MyFeelBack will then automatically detect the language of your respondent's browser and display the survey in their own language.
Discover auto translate
To translate a campaign, go to the Settings of the campaign:
Then click on Translate in the menu on the left.
Define the original language by clicking on Add new language.
Select the Original language of the survey, then click on Validate.
Then choose the Target Language of the translation and click on Translate all if you want an automatic translation.
And here is the result, with the original language English and the target language French:
NB: Images will not be affected by auto translate.
If you have images that contain text, think about modifying them and then inserting them into your translated survey.
You also have the possibility to manually fill in the translation of your campaigns.
All you have to do is fill in the empty fields opposite the headings:
When translating rich content (as shown below), write directly by replacing the original text with your translation.
No worries about the original survey, it will not be affected by these changes.
If you make changes to your original survey, it is likely that you will have new elements to translate, you will find the number of changes to check in the list of your translations.
You can use the option to display Missing translations only. And thus fill in the missing translations.
Feel free to adapt the translation to the context.
Import your own translation
You can also import your own translation, to do this, click on the Actions button to export the CSV template into which you will translate your content:
Complete your translation.
Finally, import your translated file, by clicking on Actions again.
And above all, don't forget to save.
You can create as many translations as you want!
Your translation is operational!
